Dr. Larowe holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU). She is licensed with the California Acupuncture Board (CAB) and is nationally certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

In her doctorate program at SCU she completed a specialty track in reproductive medicine and graduated Cum Laude. Her program included 1000+ hours of Western Medicine didactic training, a series of unique integrative medicine courses, courses in research and evidence based practices, in addition to a full Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine curriculum. Her clinical internship was completed in an integrative health care center. A diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at the age of 28 and Hashimoto’s a year later was the catalyst for pursuing a career in healthcare.

Dr. Larowe completed undergraduate courses at UCI and UCSB finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies. The last year of undergraduate school she spent abroad in Seoul, South Korea as an exchange student at Yonsei University. Throughout her childhood she was exposed to science and mechanics through her father who is an engineer. She was also introduced to language and culture from a young age and has studied multiple languages.

She enjoys discussion, out of the box thinking, and viewing life from different perspectives to satisfy an internal curiosity of the world around her. These interests and experiences along with her education have enabled her to practice compassionately and translate between Western and Eastern medicine to develop treatment and guidance that is unique to each individual she works with.
